Tramway T6 is dressed in Anstrude stone (under construction)

The Schall workshop carries out the project in natural stone

RATP and the Yvelines General Council are creating 2 new stations on the T6 Tramway line, the Viroflay Rive Gauche and Viroflay Rive Droite stations.

The Schall architectural studio responsible for the project chose natural stone to embellish its project. The work is underway and should be completed in February 2016.
A large part of the walls are in Anstrude stone:

  • 600m² of perforated tiles, designed to absorb noise: 69 × 99.3 × 5 cm tiles, 63 holes of 4cm per tile cut with water jet, placed on invisible sound insulation.
  • 1,500m² of unperforated slabs, approximately: 69 × 99.3 × 5 cm.
  • 38m² of curved slabs for the vaults, laying with custom-made mechanical brackets.
