Breteuil-Ségur Building

Paris, France

A new building in the heart of Paris clad in natural stone

Designing housing and rehabilitating offices in the heart of Paris while respecting the highest environmental standards: a challenge brilliantly met by the architecture studio Puzzler, which is giving new life to the old Michelin headquarters. A double suspended façade, energy efficient, blends into the environment of the prestigious 7th arrondissement. To dress it, the architects called on the stone of Massangis marketed by Polycor.

With a height of 3 meters, the single-piece natural stone panels are composed of a honeycomb core. The stone facing on honeycomb, here developed by Stone Performance, enables large-format coverings to be produced by reducing weight constraints and simplifying installation, while preserving the aesthetics of the materials.
The Breteuil-Ségur project is part of the Paris Climate Plan environmental approach and aims for BREEAM Excellent certification as well as a BBC label.
