Natural Stone Harmonizes This Building Development in Bourg-La-Reine

The Cœur de Reine residence, designed by the Badia-Berger architectes agency, is one of the key elements in the requalification of the town center of Bourg-la-Reine. The materials chosen were able to enhance its urban insertion and its architectural style.

Use stones from Sébastopol for the facade and from Saint-Maximin for the foundations, extracted from our quarries in the Oise, are “noble” materials and characteristic of old town centres. This gives the whole an aesthetic dimension that is both contemporary and classic.

“We worked on the architecture by tilting the facade, changing materials or even a fault that leads to breakthroughs of light. All of this is reminiscent of a traditional pre-Haussmannian street with a line of sky that is never horizontal. The project is then animated and gives the idea of movement. » Marie-Hélène Badia, architect.
