Le 2 Rouvray Building

Neuilly-sur-Seine, France

Natural stone: a noble material at the heart of a prestigious rehabilitation.

This exceptional achievement located at the corner of rue de Rouvray and boulevard Bineau in Neuilly-sur-Seine, is signed by the prestigious architectural firm Wilmotte & Associés. The building is distinguished in particular by these facades which combine a historic facade (that of the old mansion) with a modern facade (that of the modern part). In this exercise, the use of natural stone makes it possible to unite classical and contemporary architecture.

For this rehabilitation and extension, oriented towards the very high-end, the choice of the architects was oriented towards the stone of Tervoux. This hard limestone, with cream hues and a round and fine grain is extracted in our quarry in Chasseneuil-en-Poitou in Vienne (86). In total, the contemporary facade of the building is clad in 600 m² of Tervoux stone.

Completed in 2020, this human-sized building houses 6 large family apartments, extended by generous outdoor spaces.

“This exceptional residence derives its character from the marriage between the existing architecture and that of the new building. A contemporary creation, made of noble materials and punctuated by lines of hollow joints, which, following the concept of architectural grafting, delicately covers the old mansion and reinforces the identity of the building complex to constitute a new signal on the boulevard Bineau.
