Katzen Arts Center

The Katzen Arts Center Cultural Center located in Washington and imagined by EYP was immediately perceived, by its design, as an architectural marvel. Polycor supplied 2300 m² of facade cladding in Massangis French. The slabs are of straight and curved shapes.
“The iconic building is defined by three distinct forms. The art gallery, which gives the building its unique identity, is characterized by a cylindrical form graced by an outdoor sculpture garden. The studio/classroom wing, with its gently curvilinear form, is located at the opposite end of the site to give students some privacy from visiting crowds."
